Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

I bought a tube of Rimmel Stay Matte BB Cream in the shade Light. This is the lightest shade available and it is still a bit too dark for me. I am light but not that light. This might not work for super pale faces.

I got it specifically to take on vacation. We went to South Carolina in July where it was super hot and humid. I wanted something that was lighter and let me skip an extra moisturizer. While on vacation I used this BB cream, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent, and Rimmel Waterproof bronzer. This combination worked well in that climate and lasted longer than I was expecting.

I still use the BB Cream on the weekend when I don’t want to do a full face. This is a picture of me without any makep. This will give you an idea of the coverage provided.

These next 2 pictures are with just the BB Cream and then all my makeup. As you can tell it has medium to full coverage. I apply with my fingers and it blends easily. It is very thin coming out of the tube but feels and looks thick going on. You can layer it to get extra coverage. It holds up well in hot, sticky weather and stays matte.

I like this BB Cream but it is the first one I have ever tried. It works well when it is hot and humid and you don’t want a lot on your face. It covers, keeps the shine away, and lasts. I may buy it again but I do want to try some other brands too.
