I love fall lipstick shades! I get to pull out deeper, warmer colors than I use in the spring and summer. I like shades from the berry and the brown family. I wear some dark reds but I prefer more subtle shades. I like regular lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. I am not a big fan of glosses. They don’t last long enough and I don’t like that much shine.

It takes awhile but it dries down to a vibrant matte look.It lasted through breakfast and lunch. It is long wearing and did not dry my lips out at all. I love this formula.
Styli-Style Perfect Pout – Long Lasting Lip Balm in Bold Berry – Long lasting balm stick. I got this last year in a Beauty Box 5 subscription box. It was a favorite last year and I wore it a lot. It is another berry shade but is less intense than the Pur Lip Lacquer. It is very creamy and moisturizing. It feels very nice on the lips. It is not a long-lasting formulation and will totally wear off when you eat. It is a good choice for dry lips because it provides good color with the comfort of a balm.
Wet n Wild Mega Silk Finish Lipstick in 522A Dark Wine – We’ve never quite understood why others make you spend over 20X as much on something that we give you for next to nothing. It did come off then but lightly stained my lips. This lasts all day if you don’t eat. It is slightly drying after a few hours though. It is a lovely fall shade that I got compliments on from coworkers. Plus it costs $2!

I like this lipstick and I love this berry shade for fall. I have it in a summer shade called Uptown Pink and it was one of my 5 Faves in July. This is a creamy lipstick that looks and feels good on the lips. You do need to reapply throughout the day, especially after eating and drinking. I just love this purple-mauve shade for fall.
Cover Girl Star Wars the Force Awakens in shade 30 – This lipstick was a limited edition shade released to coincide with the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When I first got it last year I wasn’t totally comfortable wearing darker shades. I pulled it out this fall and I really like it. It is a rich pink berry shade with metallic gold flecks in it. I don’t think that you can really see the metallic effect in either the picture of me wearing it or in the lipstick itself. It is subtle but you can see it on my lips. It glides on creamy and opaque but quickly dries down. It was able to last through a snack-like breakfast without wearing off at all. It did not last through lunch but that is to be expected of any lipstick. Other than after eating a meal, it is very long lasting with a creamy, metallic finish.
