e.l.f. was offering free shipping so it seemed a perfect time to place an order. Of course, my order ended up being over $25 so shipping would have been free anyway. There were a few items I wanted to try that I could not find in stores. I had been wanting to try the lip exfoliator and the fan brush but could not find them in any stores near me. When I ordered they were also including several free gifts in addition to the free shipping. I got everything you see above for $29. I will start with the products that I ordered.
e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator – Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with our Lip Exfoliator! A sweet sugar and smoothing sensation, infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to nourish and protect. This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel. This comes in the original and 2 flavors – mint and sweet cherry – and they retail for $3 a tube. I got mine in the original and mint because I am not a fan of cherry flavor. My lips get really dry in the winter and I am hoping this helps with that. It gets mixed reviews on the e.l.f. site with complaints that it dries out really quickly. After several weeks of use, mine is not drying out at all.
e.l.f. Fan Brush – This new anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush! Unique fan shape blends away makeup mistakes. Dusts, swipes, and contours powders. Use to create soft color over the cheeks, to apply a touch of loose powder to cover shine, or as a blending aid. This was the main reason I placed this order. I had been seeing YouTubers using a fan brush to apply highlighter so f course I had to try it. This brush is ok. It does put down more highlighter than I though it would and it does a decent job of applying subtle highlighting. I am using it daily but not loving it.
e.l.f. Mask Essentials Kit – All of your mask essentials in one convenient kit! Kit includes:
Hydrating Bubble Mask: This hydrating and nourishing gel transforms into a bubble mask on the face. Watch as bubbles fizz and foam to remove excess dirt and cleanse pores for glowing, healthy looking skin. I got a sample of a bubble mask in my Beauty Beyond Borders box and loved it. If you are interested in what comes in a Korean beauty box see here and here. I liked it so much and was excited to see that e.l.f. had a version. I still haven’t tried this but may do a review of it when I do.
Pore Refining Brush and Mask Tool:
The silicone spatula provides mess free application so you don’t waste product, while the pore cleansing brush helps to gently remove dirt and grease from pores. No need to worry about possibly transporting oil and bacteria from your hands onto your face with this tool. Spatula can also be used to apply foundation, and the brush for blending color to create a flawless and smooth finish. This is a very useful tool. I have used it for gel and clay masks and it does a great job. It keeps your fingers from getting mask all over them. I wish I had discovered this years ago. This is well worth the $5 price tag.
Those are the products that I ordered. I also received 4 free gifts with my purchase. It was quite a good deal. I got some good products that I probably would not have ordered on my own. After trying a few items, I really like a couple of these.
e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Blush in Rose Royalty – This blush creates a flawless look that’s beautiful and natural looking. The unique cream-to-powder formula offers a youthful soft glow. The weightless formula is infused with Argan Oil and Vitamin E to help nourish and hydrate the skin. You can even add a little to your lips or eyes for a soft flush of color! It’s makeup so flawless, it feels like you’re not even wearing makeup! This sells for $4 and is a generous sized container. It will last a long time. It is a very pretty neutral rose shade that will work on most skin tones as it can be built up some. I really like this. It blends easily with a small stipple brush or your fingers. It adds a fresh flush of dewy color to the cheek. I have just started using cream blushes and am still learning how to use them well. I will practice a lot with this one!
e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow in Enchanted – The silky and blendable formula of our Baked Eyeshadow provides smooth and even application with each sweep of color. Baked in an oven, these eyeshadows offer rich pigmentation for a beautiful effect. Infused with active key ingredients Jojoba, Rose, Sunflower, Apricot and Grape to nourish and hydrate the skin. The long-lasting and shimmering color can be worn wet for a vibrant effect or dry for sheer pigmentation, offering a variety of gorgeous eye looks! When I first got this I swatched it and was not impressed. It did not look like it had good pigmentation at all. It is a pretty peachy gold color. Once I put it on my eyes it looked good. It shows up much better when applied with a brush than it did swatched using my fingers. Applying it with a wet brush makes it even more beautiful. I am very pleased with this free gift too. It sells for $3 on the website.
e.l.f. Eyeshadow “C” Brush – This anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. Studio brush! Creates the perfect smokey eye. The medium size brush gives more control for more specific blending needs. Use with any powder eyeshadow product for color blending. I feel like you can never have too many brushes so I was happy to see this included. I am sure that I will find a use for it. This brush retails for $3.
e.l.f. Lip Balm Tint in Peach – This lightly tinted lip balm gives the perfect flush of color for a beautiful, natural look. The Coconut, Grape, Shea Butter and Rice Wax infused formula conditions lips on contact for long-lasting, hydrating comfort. This sells for $2 and the shade Peach is not listed on the website. They are only offering it in the shades Berry and Grapefruit. To be honest I would have preferred either of those colors to Peach. I’m not going to have much use for Peach going into fall and winter. They used to have 4 shades so maybe this is being discontinued.
So, that was my e.l.f. haul. I think I got a lot of great items for under $30. I have high hopes for the lip exfoliator and the mask. I hope I’m not disappointed. What are your favorite e.l.f. products?

I am not your typical blogger. I am not young. I am over 50 years old. I am not beautiful. I do think I dress up nice, though. I do still love makeup and trying new things. I am learning to adapt my makeup to enhance and camouflage signs of aging. I love skincare and am searching for products that slow down the effects of time. When I find things that I like and that work, I want to share that information with other women like me. I hope the information I provide is helpful for you.

I’m really interested in that bubble mask! I didn’t know ELF had such a thing. I’ll have to keep an eye out when I go to the store. I jut canceled my 3B Box, September was my last box. Awesome post 💖

I STILL haven’t tried the mask. I have so many opened masks that I need to finish first. I like my 3B box but I haven’t really tried most of the items. I plan to create out an entire k-beauty routine and use it for a month to see how it works.

I had it since the beginning of the year but I didn’t like how it only really focused on skin care. Since it’s a beauty box I wanted makeup too, which was rare to get. I’m looking into other Korean beauty boxes right now. You should totally try a Korean skin regime! It’s really cleared up my skin. I use about 7 to 8 products in the morning and at night. Sounds like a lot but it doesn’t take a long time to do since Korean products absorb very easily. They are made to layer on ☺️

I like that it is about skin care. I have plenty of makeup but I am always on the lookout for decent skincare products that are anti-aging and hydrating.
