Every month I share what products I especially liked in my subscription boxes/bags. I get Ipsy, Boxycharm, Birchbox, and Beauty Beyond Borders each month. This month I am also including my Walmart Beauty Boxes. These boxes come out each quarter and these were for fall. They have 2 different boxes, a Trendsetter and a Classic version, and I get both. I will start with the Walmart boxes.
Batiste Clean & Classic Original Dry Shampoo – Make everyday your runway with Batiste Clean & Classic Original Dry Shampoo. This multi-award winning hair hero is the perfect quick fix for great looking hair, even between washes. A few quick bursts instantly transform your look. Hair looks clean and fresh with added body and texture. No water required! It’s the perfect way to extend your blow dry, free up time in the morning or to give your hair a new lease on life whenever, wherever it needs it. I am a big fan of this dry shampoo although I prefer the Floral and Flirty fragrance. This was the best sample in this box. These are very handy sizes for travel, your gym bag, desk drawer at work, etc. It will certainly be used.
From Ipsy Bag October 2016 noyah Natural Lipstick in Smoke – Like buttah. This incredibly smooth and moisturizing formula glides on and leaves a lovely semi-matte finish. Decadence on the daily. Vitamin B and shea butter plump and hydrate. Lightweight with staying power. Lasts from morning coffee to happy hour. For me, Smoke is a nude shade that is only slightly darker than my lips. I liked the way it looked on my lips. I cannot say how well it lasts since it looks so much like my natural color! It is a very nice nude for fall that is a matte finish. It is a color that is my lips but better.
Also from Ipsy, Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper – The liner that turned us all into liquid lovers. The flexible brush tip was the first of its kind to draw such precise lines—and remains our daily go-to. Not going anywhere. Waterproof, fadeproof, melt-proof and run-proof. 325 bristles in the super tight point give you greater control over your lines. Perfect for newbies and pros. Glides on for easy fine lines, wings and detail work. The first few times I used this I was not impressed. Now that I have been using it I like it. I am happy to have had the chance to try this without paying the full price. I don’t see buying this since the Stila Stay All Day eyeliner is in the same price range and I LOVE it as you can see in 5 Faves in August.
As usual, Boxycharm knocked it out of the park again this month! First is Cargo Beachblush – Four harmonious shades “stripes” blend together on the skin for perfectly balanced cheek color with a radiant warmth. Start with your favorite large fluffy brush. Swirl the brush over all four color “stripes” to create one harmonious hue. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend back along your cheekbones toward your ears. Dust the remaining product over your temples, nose, chin and along your jaw line. For a soft monochromatic glow, use the individual “stripes” as eye shadow. I love this! It is a beautiful color and it lasts all day. It is fairly neutral so it works for most skin tones. This is a full-sized product that sells for $30. I have used it often since I got it.
And Iby Beauty Threes Company Trio Eye Shadow – These three “must have shades” are perfect for fast and easy eye shadow contouring. Use the trio to brighten and define your eyes and make them appear dramatically bigger. This is another keeper from this month’s box! These shades make a beautiful fall eye. The gold is just stunning. The shades are buttery and blendable. They lasted all day even without using a primer. I will use this little palette often and it will be perfect for travel. This is another full-size product that retails for $19. I have already used this multiple times. It is just a nice everyday palette.

And finally Luxie Beauty Eye Blender Brush Pack – We collaborated with Luxie to bring you this fabulous Eye Blender 3-piece set! These cruelty free brushes are extremely soft and gentle enough for all skin types. An antibacterial coating helps keep the brushes clean and fresh. Blending your favorite shadows will be a breeze. Tapered tips are designed to give your eyeshadow a seamless blend while maintaining a flawless finish. Brush #205: With the tip of the brush, blend your best eyeshadow for a softer or more defined edge Brush #229: Blend eyeshadow colors along your crease to create deep set eyes. Brush #237: Blend your favorite eyeshadow along the crease and outer v. Obviously these are full size and sell for $36. I have other Luxie brushes and I love them. I am always happy to get brushes in my boxes to add to my collection. These are nice, soft brushes and I am thrilled to get them.
I used all these products, except the dry shampoo, in this look:
It was a decent month for my subscriptions. Boxycharm always has at least 1 item that I love and use. I can count on it every month. Birchbox was just meh this month. Nothing really stood out to me. Usually, they have at least 1 really good product so maybe next month. There were no complaints with Ipsy this month and the Walmart boxes gave me more products to choose from.
So, these were my favorite products from my beauty box/bag subscriptions this month. Have you tried any of these? What did you get in your beauty subscriptions this month?

THAT lipstick! ♥♥♥
I too found a shade that’s similar to my natural lip colour. I wear it all the time. I think it’ll be the first lipstick I’ll actually use up!
