I am old enough to remember when ugly Christmas sweaters were not a thing. I’m not really sure when this trend actually started. I do know that it has blown up in recent years and now most of us have an ugly Christmas sweater.
What I have noticed this year is that you can find them everywhere now. These pictures were taken in my local Kroger (a grocery store) but I have seen them in Walmart and even the canteen at the VA where I work.
These are some of the other designs available at my Kroger. They sell for $20 which is the same basic price I have seen everywhere. I remember when people scoured thrift stores to find vintage ugly Christmas sweaters. Now you can buy them anywhere.
