MintPear Beauty Blending Sponge – We don’t want no tugs. And we won’t get them here. This super soft sponge gently applies any product to our skin with complete precision. This is the one product in my bag that I am not totally thrilled to get. I have a Beauty Blender and a Real Techniques blending sponge and I love both of them. I used this and find it a bit hard and stiff. It seemed like it absorbed a lot more of my foundation than either of my other 2 sponges do. This will probably get passed on.
NYX Professional Makeup Prismatic Shadow in Jaded – Razzle dazzle ‘em. We’re in awe over how pigmented this shadow is, delivering rich color with gentle metallic shimmer in a single swipe. Jaded is a cool green shade that seems almost silver in the right light, and gorgeous in every light. I have other NYX eyeshadows and they are a good quality. This is a gorgeous shade and I am looking forward to using it. It is a full-size product.
Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up – We’re matte about it. One of the most comfy liquid lipsticks we’ve ever tried. And trust us, we’ve sampled hundreds here at ipsy HQ. Creamy and moisturizing, it dries down to a soft finish that lasts and lasts. Berry nice. Purplish-pink shade looks fan-freaking-tastic with any skin tone. Hyaluronic acid conditions lips (buh-bye, dryness and flaking) and makes them appear fuller and smoother. Stay inside the lines. Precision tip makes it easy to apply and totally goof-proof, even for liquid lipstick newbies. Y’all know how much I love lip products so I tried this immediately! This time Ipsy sent an email letting you choose a product to get this month from a list. This was on the list so I picked it and I am glad I did. The color is gorgeous and I really like the formula. It’s long lasting and isn’t drying. I am very happy with this sample.
tarte cosmetics deluxe maracuja oil – Oils can seem scary (um hello! who wants to look greasy?!) but this multitasker left our skin quenched, nourished, and dewy—not shiny. You’ll want to have a bottle on you at all times. Packed with complexion heroes like skin-brightening Vitamin C and repairing fatty acids. Use it for a zillion other things like frizz-fighting, on-the-go manis, makeup removal. This was one of the products that you could choose to get in your bag so I wasn’t expecting to get it too. I debated between this and the Ciate liquid lipstick so I was very happy to pull this out of my bag. It is a small sample but more than enough to see if I like it. I haven’t tried it yet because I just started a new moisturizer and I try to see bow something works on my face before adding something else. I plan on trying this in the next week or so. It gets good reviews so I am looking forward to trying it.
Privai Aqua Gel Masque – Chamomile Flower, Azulene and healing Green Tea combine to soothe and calm any skin type in this as ultra hydrating gel masque. Perfect for after a day in the sun or an active peel where the skin is parched and in desperate need of hydration and skin renewal. Apply a thin layer to cover entire face. Gently rub masque into the skin to help absorb. Can be used as a wash off masque after 10-15 minutes or leave on and allow to dry for supple, dewy skin. If there is anything I love as much as lipstick it is masks! I was very happy to get this. Now that winter is here this will be a good mask for my winter dryer skin. This sample is enough for 2-4 uses so I will get a good idea of how good this mask is.
Ipsy did a great job this month. I am very happy with my bag. You know it is a great month when I get a lip product AND a mask in the same month. I have no complaints at all with my Ipsy bag this month. They seem to be stepping up their game.
Do you get an Ipsy bag? Did you love yours this month as much as I love mine? What did you get? Have you used any of the products I got? How much will I love them?

Everytime I get close to cancelling my Ipsy subscription I get a great bag like this one. I am looking forward to trying the oil too. It is pricey so I am thrilled to get a chance to try it out to see if it is worth the investment.
