Beauty Beyond Borders January 2017

This is another monthly subscription beauty service that features Asian beauty products. It is $15 a month. If you get an annual subscription it is just $12 a month. It includes 4 or more deluxe Asian beauty samples. Most months you get at least 1 full-size product. See what came in my box in JuneAugustSeptember, and  October This month it was all masks and ya’ll know how much I love me some masks!

23.5N Rice Soothing Gel Mask – One of the most sought after brands in Taiwan, 23.5N is a natural line of skincare with all locally sourced ingredients. They are known for their gel masks especially and this Rice Soothing Gel Mask is their bestseller! Packed with vitamins B1, B2, and ceramide, this mask is magic for those with sensitive or irritated skin. It soothes dull and problematic skin like no other treatment we’ve tried. This brand is the rising star of Taiwanese skincare and if there’s one mask you don’t want to miss out on, it’s their Rice Soothing Gel Mask.  According to the description, I should be able to get 6 uses out of this little pot. I’m looking forward to trying it.

Hada Labo Ultimate Anti-Aging Facial Mask – This soft, single-use, 100% cotton mask drenches skin with a full bottle of serum (0.7 fl oz) to boost hydration, smooth fine lines, and restore firmness and bounce to your skin.  Experience a refreshing, relaxing and indulgent experience for radiant and visibly younger skin. It contains Super Hyaluronic Acid™, a proprietary combination of 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid that provides multi-layer, long-lasting moisture to restore and strengthen skin’s natural hydrating levels. I’m pretty sure that I have used this before and liked it. I am a big fan of sheet masks and especially like hydrating ones in the winter.

For Beloved Girl Extreme Moisture Sheet Mask – The star product from Taiwan’s For Beloved Girl, this mask will cure all dry patches! Packed with hyaluronic acid, sodium PCA, and sodium lactate, this mask is designed to lock in all-day moisture to create an immediate glow for dehydrated and fatigued skin.   This will be wonderful to use if we have a cold snap with super dry air.

Wei Beauty Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask – This mask is the #1 globally top-selling mud mask from Wei Beauty that has an ultra-soft texture without a tight or uncomfortable feeling as it dries. This purifying mask deeply cleanses and removes dead cells bringing skin to natural balance for a refreshed, clear complexion.  The golden root extract works to counteract the oxidative causes of cell damage while pure china clay works to absorb toxins, dirt and remove dead skin cells. I love mud masks! I am not looking forward to a time when my skin is too dry to use them. This one sounds like a really good one.

SkinRX Madecera Express Sheet Mask – The SkinRx Lab MadeCera Express Mask contains a powerful combination of naturally fermented ceramics and an ancient herbal remedy from Asia, madecassoside. The microfiber sheet mask contains more essence than a normal cotton mask and delivers high-density active elements to skin immediately. I looked madecassoside up and research shows that it has anti-aging benefits. It is an anti-inflammatory and may stimulate collagen production. This sounds like a great mask for mature skin. I can’t wait to try it.

Maskeraide Weather Warrior Sheet Mask – The new year calls for new resolutions. Whether you’ve spent the day working on your tan on the beach or skiing down the slopes, your skin deserves a treat during this time of year. Exposure to damaging elements such as UV rays, wind, and extreme cold can leave your skin feeling dry, flaky, and all around irritated. Caring for your skin after exposure to extreme elements is essential. This sheet mask from Maskeraide is infused with aloe, green tea, witch hazel, and argan oil to help soothe, calm, and heal your skin. What cute packaging for this mask! No matter how it works it sure looks cute!

I am super happy with my 3B bag this month. I mask 3 times a week so every item will be used. Back in the fall, I did Month of Masks and I may use all these masks to do a winter version.
