On Christmas day e.l.f. had a 1/2 off sale. Of course, I had to buy a bunch of stuff! There are several e.l.f. products that I use regularly so this was a good chance to stock up. There are also several items I wanted to try and could not find locally. I live in a semi-rural area and no local stores carry the full e.l.f. line. With everything being 1/2 off I had a chance to try a lot.
The Makeup Mist & Set is my regular makeup setting spray so I ordered 2 of these. Wish you could have a product for your makeup that’s like hairspray is for your hair? Well…keep your makeup staying in place all day with a radiance boosting invisible hold with our new Makeup Mist & Set. The invigorating mist moisturizes and soothes the skin with key ingredients Aloe, Green Tea, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E. The lightweight, comfortable and alcohol free formula improves makeup wearability and prevents color from running or fading. I use this every morning so it was nice to get 2 bottles for $3.
Kiss It Goodbye Lip Color Remover – This clear oil-based formula conditions while gently removing long-lasting lip color. Lip stains and long-lasting lip colors have met their match! Infused with Safflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Aloe, this product helps to soothe, hydrate, and replenish lips while breaking down color. I have a few lip products that are stubborn to remove. I am hopeful that this will work well for those.
Flawless Finish Foundation in Sand – Achieve a flawless complexion with the silky smooth e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation. The lightweight and oil-free formula blends in naturally for a beautiful semi-matte finish. This liquid foundation applies easily and lasts all day for visibly brighter and radiant looking skin. Using our Flawless Finish Foundation not only restores uneven skin textures and tones, but most importantly, the SPF 15 protects your skin against harmful sun damage! I had been wanting to try this for awhile now. It gets good reviews on YouTube and it only costs $6 (or $3 during the 1/2 price sale). I couldn’t find it in any of my drugstores.
Mineral Infused Face Primer in Brightening Lavender – Ideal for uneven skin tones and to brighten dull or yellow tones. I already have so many primers that I’m not sure why I even bought this! I will eventually try it. I usually forget to even use a primer so it lasts me forever.
HD Lifting Concealer in Fair – This high definition, skin firming concealer hides imperfections and regenerates the skin for added radiance. Minimizes fine lines and helps even skin tone for a youthful look. The formula is infused with key ingredients Vitamin C, Green Tea and Mulberry for lifting and soothing benefits, and to help improve skin texture. I have heard so many good things about this on YouTube that I have been wanting to try it for a long time. Since it was only $1.50 during the sale this was the perfect time to finally get it.
Makeup Remover Pen – Mascara smears? Uneven eyeliner? Quickly remove or correct small makeup smudges, smears and mistakes without having to take off the rest of your makeup! The gentle and non-greasy formula erases even long wearing and waterproof makeup for flawless touch ups, perfect for throwing in your purse or gym bag when you’re on-the-go! Infused with Vitamin E, Cucumber and Chamomile to moisturize and condition skin. This is a true Holy Grail product for me. I use it every day and could not put on makeup without it. This product is the only reason I was ever able to learn to use eyeliner. I “erased” miles of badly placed, smeared eyeliner in the early days. Now I use it to clean up mascara smudges. I bought 2 of these too because I use it regularly.
Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser – This gentle, hydrating formula melts on contact transforming from a gel to creamy oil that helps dissolve makeup and cleanse the skin. Formulated with Purified Water and infused with nourishing Argan Oil, Rose Extracts, and Rose Seed Oils to help moisturize the skin. It’s also rich in antioxidant Vitamin C. I do a Nighttime Double Cleanse Routine and this will work well with my P.M. Skincare Routine.
Moisturizing Foundation Stick in Nude – This creamy foundation stick glides on effortlessly for adjustable, natural-looking coverage. Enriched with antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients Shea, Vitamin E, Cocoa, Grape, Avocado, Macadamia, and Aloe to nourish and hydrate the skin for a soft, smooth, and revitalized look. The twist-up component is easy to use and perfect for on-the-go beauty! I have never tried a stick foundation and this might be a good one to try. I just hope that it doesn’t make my face look greasy.
Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Coffee and Black – I already had some of these eyeliners in dark green and purple. They are really nice eyeliners, especially for $2. I have been wanting a brown eyeliner for a while now so this was a good time to get one. At the price, I had to pick up a black one too. I can always use a black eyeliner.
So, that was my e.l.f. haul. I got it all for less than $28. Most of the items are new to me and I am looking forward to trying them out. I’m thrilled to have been able to stock up on a couple of my staples at 50% off.
Did you take advantage of the e.l.f. 1/2 off sale? What did you buy? What are your favorite e.l.f. products? Any recommendations that I should try the next time they do a 1/2 off sale?

I hit that sale too! I picked up a ton of makeup for less than $32.00 and was over-the-moon happy about it. I ordered HD loose powder in sheer as a restock item, 7 of the matte lip colors (my absolute favorite lipsticks), a baked highlighter in blushed gems, an Instant Life Brow Pencil in taupe, a Hydrating Bubble Mask, and 4 makeup brushes. Sadly, one of the 7 matte lip colors ended up going out of stock during my order processing so I only ended up getting 6 shades. I am happy with every single item except the mask. I didn’t like it at all.

I like the mask but I hate the way it comes out. I have to pump and pump to get enough out. I haven’t tried any of their lip products other than the Mad for Matte set. I got the lip exfoliator in my last order and I love it. I also highly recommend the makeup remover pen. I use it every day to clean up mascara mistakes.
