Target Mini Haul

When you purchase the Target Beauty Box you get a coupon for $3 off a $15 purchase. So of course, I just had to go to Target and spend at least $15! Everything except the e.l.f. Makeup and Mist and Set Spray is a product I have never tried. I have used them all since I bought them so I can tell you how they worked for me. Or didn’t, as the case may be!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation – I got this in Light Ivory and it is a close match for my skin tone. It is still a little dark and a bit pinker than I like. The coverage is medium to full and it covers well. It promises that it is long wearing, transfer resistant and has a comfort serum in it. It does last all day and I have not noticed any transferring. The price is very good at $6.99. I have applied it with a sponge and a brush and I prefer the brush. It is not one of my favorite foundations. The color does not look good on me at all. I ended up giving this away because it just didn’t look good on me.

e.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set – This is something that I use regularly. It contains aloe, cucumber, green tea and vitamins and I spray it on after applying my makeup. It promises to keep your face supple, moisturized and healthy all day. It does make my face feel refreshed when I spray it on. It is not sticky or shiny. I honestly can’t say if it helps set my makeup or not. I just like using it.It is a bargain at $3.00.

Suave Refresh and Revive Dry Shampoo – I got this on sale for $2.50. On the weekend I have time to straighten my hair and I wear it straight on Monday and Tuesday. This is the first time in my life that I have gone a day without washing my hair.  Now with the dry shampoo, I can go 2 days without washing. This makes my hair look clean and smell clean. The smell is kind of odd, it has a citrus smell that I just don’t care for all that much. My son says it smells fine so it must just be me. It is an ok dry shampoo and it is a bargain. I have found others that I like much better that aren’t that much more expensive.

Up and Up Complexion Brush – Emily Noel on YouTube did an entire video on Up and Up brushes and really liked this brush. I decided that I needed to try it and I am SO glad that I did. It is great for applying foundation. It makes it look flawless and it blends in so well. I am really loving this brush and want to try more from this brand.

All in all, I am pleased with my Target mini beauty haul. I use these products on a regular basis and don’t regret buying any of them. I hope that Target puts out another beauty box soon so that I can get another coupon.
