Drugstore Haul

Thanks to coupons from Walmart Spring 2017 Beauty Box Trendsetter and Target Beauty Box April 2017 I had coupons burning a hole in my pockets. So, I had to go shopping. I did actually need a few items but then I picked up extras to meet the requirements of the coupons.

The Walmart box included a sample of Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation. A feather light, oil free formula with an airy mousse texture that won’t feel heavy or greasy. Delivers all day shine control and blends flawlessly for a natural looking matte finish. Minimizes the appearance of pores. The weight is over – finally, shine has met its matte. I liked the sample so much that I used the included $1 off coupon to buy a full size. You can read my thoughts on it: Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation First ImpressionWith the coupon, I paid less than $4 for this. What a beauty bargain!

I used my Target coupons for the rest of the items. I was in the market for an eyebrow pencil because I had just finished my Chella eyebrow pencil. I was using a Wet n Wild pencil but I couldn’t get it sharpened to a fine enough point.

I had heard good things about the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer Pencil so I thought I would give it a try. Brow Stylist® Definer makes the art of the brow easy. Shape brows with this ultra-fine tip pencil – a perfect tool to draw tiny brow hairs and shape brows for a well-defined look. Mechanical and retractable pencil with spoolie brush for combing and blending the perfect brow. It even claims to be waterproof. I am already using this and so far I really like it.

que bella beauty skin brightening papaya peel off mask – for a bright and brilliant complexion…Refresh and revitalize your skin with the Que Bella Skin Brightening Papaya Peel-off Mask. Enriched with natural Papaya Extract the mask helps exfoliate whilst the Hops actives help even out skin tone, revealing smoother, more luminous skin and a glowing complexion. The Papaya extract used in this mask is rich in Papain, a powerful digestive enzyme that can help to gently exfoliate the skin. ‘Wonderlight’ is the natural skin radiance active derived from hops that help decrease hyperpigmentation accentuated by age and stress, to equalise skin pigmentation and present a radiant complexion. If you follow my blog you know that I am a mask junkie. Check each Monday for a new mask review and expect to see this mask in a future post. I was close to the $15 I needed to spend to get the $3 off so I picked up this $1.99 mask. It sounds like a good one and I like to do the occasional peel-mask. I can almost always get at least 2 uses out of these little packets.

I finished up my Target coupon shopping by stocking up on my favorite dry shampoo. I discovered the Dove dry shampoo last year and it is my go-to. It has different formulas and I like them equally well.

Dove Detox and Purify Dry Shampoo – Refresh and revive oily hair between washes with Detox & Purify dry shampoo, for beautifully clean results every time. This is my warm weather formula since hair tends to get oilier in the summer.

Dove Volume and Fullness Dy Shampoo – Refreshes hair between washes, instantly removing oil, while adding volume and fullness. I like this formula too. If you have never tried Dove Dry Shampoo I highly recommend it. I think I will do a review of them at some point.

I am pleased with my Walmart and Target haul especially seeing that all my coupons saved me $7. I stocked up on my tried and true Dove Dry Shampoo. I also purchased the brow pencil and face palette that I have heard so much positive buzz about online. And of course, I got a new mask to try!

Do you use any of the products in this haul? What are your thoughts on them? What are some of your favorite drugstore products?

If you enjoyed this, please “like” it and follow me so that you can see more posts like this. Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate your supporting my blog.
