I subscribe to several beauty subscription services but I am always most eager to see what comes in my Boxycharm. You can see why – Boxycharm October 2016, Boxycharm November 2016, Boxycharm December 2016, Boxycharm January 2017, Boxycharm February 2017, Boxycharm March 2017. It is the most expensive subscription I have at $21 per month but I do an annual subscription that gets it down to $19.25 per month. The box includes 4-5 full-size and luxury-size samples each month. You can subscribe using my link and I will get credit to spend in their store. That link is here.
After a couple of months of just so-so boxes, Boxycharm seems to be back on track. This month’s box had some great products and it was a nice selection of products. Read on to see what I got this month.
Highlight & Contour Palette by IBY Beauty – Sculpt, define, and illuminate your features with the Highlight and Contour Palette. Chic and portable, this PRO-approved kit comes in 6versatile shades. This is a full sized palette and it retails for $40. Some subscribers got a cream palette and some got a powder palette. I am glad that I received the powder version because I don’t do the best job with cream contours. I am liking this a lot!
Liquid Glow by Temptu – In this limited edition collaboration with Boxycharm, TEMPTU introduces Liquid Glow, its first hand-applied highlighter. Formulated to deliver a radiantly luminous complexion, or to illuminate all over, this long-lasting formula is designed in a rose gold hue that flatters every skin tone and creates a natural, lit-form within glow. I received a Temptu liquid bronzer in Boxycharm October 2016 and liked it better than I expected to. I will try this but liquid highlighters are easy to over apply. The retail price on this is $29.50 which to me is crazy expensive.
Round Contour Brush by Crown Pro – This super soft paddle brush can be used with any liquid, powder, or cream product for a full coverage application. The retail price of this brush is $24.99. Crown brushes are good brushes so I am pleased to get this. I have a paddle brush set already but I love getting brushes.
Brow Brush by The BrowGal – This double-ended brow brush was designed to allow for precision and creating hair-like strokes while filling in the brows. This sells for $14 and it is my first time using a brush like this for my brows. I like it a lot. The spoolie is better than what comes on eyebrow pencils. It is much firmer.
Convertible Brow – 02 by The BrowGal – The convertible Brow is a powder/pomade duo that acts as a powder when used dry and a pomade when used wet t fill in and apply color and definition to the brows. Each compact has a warm, neutral, and ash tone to allow you to mix your perfect, custom color. If used wet, the palette will revert back to a powder consistency, ensuring the product does not dry out. This full-sized palette sells for $35. I had never tried using powder to do my brows. I have been using a pencil and I have used the mascara-like eyebrow products. I wasn’t planning on liking this but after using it once I am loving it. This along with the Brow Brush is awesome! So glad I got to try this.
After a couple of off months, Boxycharm scored big this month. The Brow Gal products are totally amazing! I have been using the contour/highlighter palette every day this week. The brush is nice and I am a fan of getting new brushes. The liquid highlighter is my least favorite product and that is more because I prefer powder highlighters.
Do you get Boxycharm? What did you think of it? Have you tried any of the products I received? Do you like them?
