Even though it is spring it has been cold and rainy this month. Especially the first 2 weeks making it hard to feel like it was spring. I had to keep out long sleeve shirts because it wasn’t warm. My faves are more spring-like products because I wanted to feel like it was spring!
L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer Pencil in Brunette – Ultra-fine Tip Mechanical Pencil and Spoolie Draws Tiny Brow Hairs Precisely Defines and Easily Blends. Waterproof. Brow Stylist® Definer makes the art of the brow easy. Easily start shaping or filling in eyebrows with this ultra-fine tip brow pencil – a perfect tool to draw tiny hairs and shape brows for a well-defined look. This mechanical and retractable pencil with spoolie brush for combing and blending makes it easy to style your eyebrow makeup. I got this at Target and it was part of a recent Drugstore Haul. I love it! It is my new favorite brow product. I am still learning how to do brows and this makes life so much easier. Plus, it costs about $7. I highly recommend this pencil.
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice – Achieve statement-making color with our supremely sensational matte lipstick. Precious oils leave a sensuous finish. This is also a recent purchase and the shade is to die for! The formula is creamy and feels good on the lips. This will be a long-term favorite and is a shade that can be worn year round.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Up to 5 hours natural shine control with natural minerals. Helps minimize the appearance of pores. This is my go-to warm weather powder. My face gets shiny in warmer weather and this helps keep me matte most of the day. That would be enough but it also really does minimize the appearance of my pores. I will use it daily until fall.
Banila Co Clean It Zero – This sherbet type cleanser completely removes stubborn makeup pigments and cleansed out with water, leaving refreshing but hydrated skin after cleansing. Barbados Cherry extract and herbal complex leave your skin refreshed and hydrated, and condition your skin for foam cleansing or next step of your skincare. This is one of those products that I kept seeing great reviews online so I had to try it. I have been doing a Nighttime Double Cleanse Routine for months now. I have tried a few different makeup removers like Yes to Coconut Ulta Hydrating Melting Cleanser and most recently e.l.f. Hydrating Gel Melting Cleanser. I liked both of those well enough but I am absolutely loving this one. It only takes the smallest amount to remove all my makeup and sunscreen. It comes with a little spatula so you can scope out about a pea-sized amount that does my face and neck. This will probably reach Holy Grail status for me. It leaves my face clean and ready for the next step in my routine.
Daiso Japan Reusable Silicon Mask Cover for Sheet Prevent Evaporation – A super hit “mask cover” makes of elastic silicon, which is comfortable to skin, re-usable. It comes with ear loops to keep the mask in place. There are 3 ways that you can use the mask. How to use (a) wrapping effect – wear over a sheet mask, it prevents mask essence from evaporating, helps reserve the maximum amount of essence for skin nourishment, (b) keep in position – wear with the ear loops to prevent the mask from slipping off when you move and so you can do more things than ever rather than resting, (c) use in bath-use in bath without a sheet mask, it works as a face steaming mask for relaxing purpose to re-use it, simply wash and keep it clean after used. This is one of those products that I didn’t even know existed until I saw it on YouTube. I have had it for a while and it has been a favorite in the past. I had to include it this month because it was #MaskaDayinMay and I have been using a mask every day. This mask cover has seen a lot of use this month. If you use sheet masks I highly recommend you get one of this. They are dirt cheap on Amazon and increase the results from sheet masks.
So, those were 5 products that I was loving in May. Do you have any of these products? Do you love them like I do? What were some of your favorites in May?
