I received this mask in a Beauty Beyond Borders box. It was a k-beauty subscription that was mostly skincare samples. I miss this subscription service and hope to find a good k-beauty subscription to take its place. I have used other Hada Labo products and have been pleased with them. For reference, my skin is normal/combo. In the winter it tends to get a little dryer and in the summer it gets shiny. I have fine lines/wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. My skin is not overly sensitive.

The mask felt thick and very saturated coming out of the package. It had absolutely no scent at all so if you are sensitive to scent this would be a good mask for you. It was a soft cotton-type mask. I applied the mask after cleansing, toning, and applying my 2 nighttime serums. I like to apply my serums under a sheet mask to help them absorb better into my skin. There was no burning or tingling after application.
The fit was ok but it left big gaps around my nostrils. That is an area that tends to get dry and flaky for me and I like a mask that hugs that area pretty closely. Other than that, it fit my face well. For some reason, the edges did not adhere to my face like they should have. That is no biggie because I have a silicone mask cover that I use to keep the mask in place and help press the serum into my skin.
The instructions for the Hada Labo Anti-Aging Mask say to leave it on 10-15 minutes. I always leave my sheet masks on 45 minutes to an hour to allow ample time to absorb into my skin. I don’t worry about it drying and taking moisture from my skin due to my use of the silicone mask cover.
When I removed the mask there was a fair amount of serum left on my face which I massaged into my skin. It felt a bit sticky but once I applied my moisturizer over it, it felt fine.
My skin did look brighter and firmer when I removed the mask. It felt smoother and looked plumper. Overall, I was satisfied with this mask. My skin looked and felt better after I used it and that is the point! A 4 pack of Hada Labo Anti-Aging Facial Mask will run you about $5 at several online retailers including Walmart.
Have you tried this mask? Did you like it? What is your favorite sheet mask? Do you have any recommendations for me?
