Walmart offers seasonal beauty boxes for $5 per box. They come out in the summer, fall, winter, and spring. You can see what came in past boxes here and here. They have a Classic box that is marketed for mature women and a trendsetter box geared toward younger women. They tend to have overlap in the products in both boxes. Today I am sharing my summer Trendsetter box.
imPRESS Press-On Manicure One Step Gel – Has new dual layer patented super hold adhesive. Safe on natural nails. Provides hassle-free removal. No glue needed. There are 30 nails in this package with 6 accent nails. They sell for $4.50 at Walmart. I have never had any luck with press-on nails but since they are in a neutral shade I will give them a try.
Ecotools Eco Mask Remover Sponges, Pack of 2 – Our Mask Remover Sponges are made with natural plant pulp to remove facial masks and exfoliate for cleaner, softer looking skin. The 2 pack sells for $2.50. I had already purchased these and they are just ok. They seem a little flimsy to remove masks well.
Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel – Get smoother makeup application and longer lasting brushes with Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel. It’s the simple way to remove oils, impurities, and makeup weekly. I will give this a try and see if it works better than the Dial soap I use.

I have a ton of wipes because they seem to be popular in beauty boxes. I rarely use them because I remove my makeup with an oil based balm. I use them to wipe off swatches and I may take them vacation and use them in place of my Banila Clean It Zero Balm. They are easier to pack.
Pantene Dream Care Shampoo and Conditioner – These are moisturizing and hydrating. I also have too many sample sized shampoos and conditioners. Since I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week I just don’t need that much shampoo and conditioner. I do like Pantene though.
Göt2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel – This gel’s hold is no joke! So put it down and slowly back away if you’re not up for creating extreme styles! This non-sticky, no-flake formula is powered by a high-tech, styling agent we call it Alpha XTR. Call it what you want, it lets you take your hair to new heights. Or do your own thing and cement your individual style. And when the party comes to an end, easily un-glue with a little shampoo. Go ahead style away! This is actually a nice sized sample. The only problem is that I don’t do anything with my hair that I would ever need a product like this. I don’t even know anyone who does.
I have to say that I am not thrilled with this box. I either don’t use or have too many already of these samples. Good thing I only paid $5 for the box. Although that seems like $5 too much this quarter!
