I cannot even believe I am already talking about what I loved in July. How can it already be the end of July? Here in Virginia, it has been hot and humid like always. Some of my favorites are things that work well in this weather and others are just things I am loving! Read on to see what I have been using and loving in July.
Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation – A feather light, oil free formula with an airy mousse texture that won’t feel heavy or greasy. Delivers all day shine control and blends flawlessly for a natural looking matte finish. Minimizes the appearance of pores. The weight is over – finally, shine has met its matte. I got a sample of this in Walmart Spring 2017 Beauty Box Trendsetter and liked it so much that I purchased a full-size tube. You can read why I love it in my review here. It has good coverage and helps combat shine. It works for me in this heat and humidity.

Skineral’s Organic Californium Sunless Bronzer is designed for all skin types and ideal for bronze healthy skin, without exposing it to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. This tanning mitt prevents the palms of hands from staining when applying the bronzer. I am the whitest woman in the world! It is ok in the winter because my glowing white legs are hidden from view. In the summer they are visible for all to see when I am wearing shorts, dresses, and skirts. I have never had good luck applying self-tanners so I got this to see if it helps. It does! I still have a few streaky areas and darker patches but it doesn’t look awful. The mitt spreads the self-tanner much more evenly than using my hands. It doesn’t soak up all the product and it keeps my hands clean. I ordered this on Amazon for under $10.
Creightons The Aroma Company Ultra Rich Body Cream, Moroccan Rose – Delicately perfumed rich melting body cream leaves skin velvety soft, smooth and hydrated. I picked this 16 oz tub up at my local Ross for $4.99. I love a fresh rose scent that smells real and this is it. I actually bought the rose scented bath gel that was one of my 5 Faves in June to go with this body butter. It not only smells heavenly but it is a great body butter as well. It is a perfect summer scent for the body. I looked this up on Amazon and they are selling it for $35!!! If I had known people would pay that I would have bought all that Ross had!
Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream – CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream is formulated to restore the skin barrier overnight so you can wake up with skin that looks refreshed and renewed. I have been using, and loving, CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for a while now. This is a heavy moisturizer that doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, In the morning my skin just feels soft and smooth. There is no greasiness at all.
I had variety in my favorites this month. I had makeup, skincare, and bath and body items. The Rimmel foundation is perfect for the heat and humidity of July. The rose scented body butter is a perfect mid-summer scent and the humid weather makes skin care a challenge.
