LLang Organic Cotton Blossom Mask – Tea Tree

I got this mask for $1 in my Monster Sheet Mask Haul a few months ago. I saved this for warmer weather because I thought it would be less moisturizing.

Intensive care for sensitive skin, soothing and calming down skin troubles.  Tea tree extract has been used as a medicine for a long time because of its exceptional anti-inflammation effect; it quickly calms irritated skin.

Safe on skin with 100% organic cotton sheet certified by Control Union Certifications, an organic product certification organization, Organic sheet, made using eco-friendly technology without using whitening agent, safely delivers effective ingredients to your skin to leave a soft finish.

How to use – After cleansing, attach the mask on your face tightly. About 10~20 minutes later, take off the mask. Dab your face softly and lightly.

Ingredients – Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Alcohol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Carbomer, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, potassium hydroxide, Allantoin, Panthenol, Sodium hyaluronate, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Prunus Persica (Peach) Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

LLang Tea Tree mask has some good ingredients but I don’t like seeing alcohol in my skincare products. It doesn’t smell like alcohol and did not seem harsh. For reference, my skin is normal with some shine in the warm weather.

The scent of this mask was light and I assume smelled like Tea Tree Oil. It was not overpowering and I did not notice it while I had the mask on. The mask was saturated in serum and was soft. It was generously sized and easily covered my entire face.

I double cleansed my face, used my toner, and applied tretinoin. I waited 2 hours to allow my tretinoin to be absorbed and then put on my mask. I put The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA  on under the mask so it could be pressed into my skin. I use my silicone mask cover over sheet masks to help press everything into the skin.

On the left is the sheet mask by itself. On the right, I have put my silicone mask cover over it.

I left the mask on for about 35 minutes so it had ample time to work its magic. When I took it off there was a fair amount of serum on my face. I massaged it into my skin and it was absorbed. It did leave it a bit sticky but applying my moisturizer helped it feel much less sticky.

My face looked better when I removed the mask than it did before using it. It felt softer and looked hydrated without looking greasy. I liked this mask and at $1 per mask, I will repurchase it. I am always pleased with any mask that hydrates without being heavy.

Have you ever tried this mask? Anything else from this brand? What did you think? What is your favorite mask? Any recommendations for me?
