I used Ipsy points to get this sample. Glamglow has something of a cult status and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Getting to try it for free is way better than the $70 retail price tag!

There are a lot of AHAs and BHAs in this product – mandelic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid. With all those actives you would expect an amazing experience.
I double cleansed my face and applied my toner before using. This mask is a dark gray mud mask that spreads easily. There is a bit of a tingle upon application but then it feels very cooling. It dries down very hard but does not feel tight on the face. You have to get it really wet to rinse it off but once it is wet it rinses easily. Smells fresh and kind of minty.
After removing Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment I did see a visible difference. My pores did look better and my skin looked brighter. It also left my skin feeling soft and smooth.
So yes it works. There is visible improvement in the skin. My issue is the price tag. My problem is the $69 for 1.7 oz price tag. I simply refuse to pay that much. I feel like I am just paying for the name and that the markup must be huge for this product. I just cannot and will not justify paying that much.
Have you tried this? Did you like it? Do you think the price is reasonable? Are there any dupes out there at a better price?

It is nice. I’m just not sure it is $70 worth of good. By the way I can’t leave comments on your posts. It just isn’t an option.
