There are always outlet malls and lots of shopping at the beach. It doesn’t even matter what beach you go to. I love to shop at new places and I always come home with some new beauty buys! This year I found some good stuff at Cosmetics Company Outlet and a Ross.
I will start with my Cosmetics Company purchases.

Clinique Little Holiday Helpers – this has 4 Clinique samples in it. It was a Sephora exclusive with a retail value of $24. It sold for $17.50 at Sephora and I picked it up for $13.75 at Cosmetics Company Outlet. It has a Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color Balm in Super Strawberry. I have some other Chubby Stick lippies and I like them. They are sheer but feel good on the lips. There was also a Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. This was the main sample I wanted to try. I have heard so many good things about it. Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm was included in this set. This is another product I want to try. The last product is a Liquid Facial Soap Mild. I have used this before and like it. I purchased this set so I could try some new products and to have some nice travel sizes for vacations.
Clinique for Men Charcoal Face Wash – Detoxifying gel wash delivers a deep-pore clean. Natural charcoal draws out the dirt and excess oil that can clog pores. Soothing, non-drying lather gently foams away impurities. Leaves all skin types feeling fresh, comfortable. I purchased this for my teenage son. I try to encourage him to take good care of his skin. Luckily, he has pretty good skin and I want him to keep it that way. He has been using it regularly and really likes it. I got this for $16 and it sells for $20. It looks like it has new packaging now.
Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup in Ivory – This is a medium coverage foundation with a matte finish. It has been discontinued and I paid $19 for it. I actually meant to get the Even Better foundation which I love but picked this up accidentally. I haven’t tried it yet but I like Clinique foundations so I’m sure it will be fine.
Mac Select Matte Lipstick in So Select – This is my first Mac lipstick. It is a beautiful dusty rose shade. This shade was only available to MAC Select members. I got it for $12.00 which is a great price for a Mac lipstick.

Mac Nutcracker Sweet Nude Lipstick Kit – This was a limited edition kit from last Christmas. It has 4 mini lipsticks in a cute box. The shades are Whirl a dirty rose with a matte finish, Nouvelle Vogue soft blue pink with a matte finish, Kinda Sexy neutral pinky-rose with a matte finish, and Creme Cup light blue pink with a cremesheen finish. This set cost $28.
So those were my Cosmetics Company Outlet purchases. I spent almost a $100 but I got a lot for that. Now onto my lone Ross purchase.
Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Set – this set has 2 bronzers in it and I got it for $7.99. Physicians Formula Happy Booster Light Bronzer Glow & Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing – Look Happy. Ultra-lightweight loose powder hearts feature bronze and gold micropearls for a warm luminosity with the smooth look of a loose powder veil, without the mess. Infused with our Happy Boost Blend featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply. This has been discontinued so I don’t have a price for it. Veil Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder – Ultra-smooth, perfecting powder in a complementary palette of color blends together to even out skin tone with a flawless radiance. Vibrant pink heart gives cheeks a healthy pop of color. Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply. This is $8.99 at Target.
I have always wanted to try Physician’s Formula and this was too cute and cheap to pass up! I can’t wait to try these out. The hearts are just adorable and people rave about this brand.
All in all, I was very pleased with my vacation buys. I always love a visit to Cosmetic Company Outlet. I am a fan of Clinique and use many products regularly. I am a fan of their moisturizers, foundations, and blushes. I hope I like the one I accidentally bought. I am happy to have the Clinique minis for travel. I have a night time routine in mini size.
I had planned to get a Mac lipstick this year. At $12.00 it was still pricey but better than regular retail for a Mac lipstick. I had longingly considered getting something from the Nutcracker Series last Christmas so this was a great find.
All of my purchases will be used. I have some great new lipsticks to try as well as a new foundation. The Physician Formula products will be great to create glow in the fall and winter.
