Boxycharm September 2017

I subscribe to several beauty subscription services but I am always most eager to see what comes in my Boxycharm. You can see why – Boxycharm February 2017Boxycharm March 2017Boxycharm April 2017Boxycharm May 2017Boxycharm June 2017, Boxycharm July 2017 and Boxycharm August 2017.  It is the most expensive subscription I have at $21 per month but I do an annual subscription that gets it down to $19.25 per month. The box includes 4-5 full-size and luxury-size samples each month. You can subscribe using my link and I will get credit to spend in their store. That link is here.

The theme for September is Boxy Baddie. This is another good month. Let’s take a look at what came in my box.

Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette by Pur – This essential palette is filled with highly pigmented and silky smooth shadows. I have had a chance to use this once. I was able to create a pretty, bronzy fall look. The shadows are pigmented and lasted all day. It is a really nice neutral palette. It is listed at $34 and is full size.

Ultra Satin Lip by ColourPop in Strip – High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long. I like ColourPop and this is described as a Beige shade on their website. I like this and it is a good shade for me. This isn’t as transfer resistant as the matte formula but it is more comfortable. It retails for $6 and I am happy with it.

Eyebrows by Mac – Self-propelling, self-sharpening, and brow-defining. This pencil will add everything you need: shape, colour and/or density in one streamlined tool. Like a pen, it creates its own just-right point for striking arches. It’s also the perfect pencil to take on the go- no sharpener needed!  I have not had a chance to try this but I like getting eyebrow products to try. The retail price for this is $18.

Face Perfecting Brush by bareMinerals – This patented makeup brush lets you adjust your foundation coverage by the drop for a perfectly seamless foundation application. I haven’t tried this yet. I need to figure out how to open it so I can put foundation in it. It could be really good. We shall see. This brush is $28.

Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Hair Mask – An intensive weekly treatment to restore essential hydration and enhance hair’s resilience to protect against future damage. I use hair masks regularly so I will use it. This sells for $20 which seems a little pricey to me.

Loose Blush by Studio Makeup – This lightweight blush provides a vibrant pop of color for the most natural, healthy look. I haven’t tried this yet either. I am not excited about a loose blush. It sounds messy and hard to apply evenly. The retail for this is $28.

Boxycharm continues to be the best beauty subscription. It had 6 full-size products this month. 6!! The loose blush is the only item that doesn’t totally wow me. And after I try it that may change. I give this month’s box 4.5/5. I am pleased.

Do you subscribe to Boxycharm? Did you love your box as much as I did mine this month? Have you tried any of the products I received in my box? What did you think of them?

Thank you so much for your support of my blog! I am humbled to think that other people actually take the time to read my posts. I appreciate it more than you know. If you enjoyed this post please “like” it and follow my blog so you will see new posts.

  1. Wow I didn’t realize how much better Boxycharm is than those $10 subs. Most of those products I get from ipsy end up in a drawer and forgotten. I do use SOME of them, this is why I’m thinking about dropping ipsy. If I do end up switching to Boxycharm I will def use your link. Thanks for the reviews, I went back and looked at the older month’s boxes. They brushes and the eye shadow palettes are worth the $21!
