Allure is a monthly beauty subscription. It costs $15 a month and will have 5 sample or deluxe samples each month. This is a new subscription box for me and I don’t know what I think of it yet. This is just my 3rd box. You can see what I have gotten in previous boxes here, here, here. Read on to see what I got this month.
It was super late arriving this month due to the hurricanes so unboxing it is all I have had time to do.
Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast – A spray that creates volume and texture that’s almost as light as air and gives big, lasting results on dry hair. It’s powered by our Volumizing and Texturizing Molecule (ETAS) which is lighter and bigger than industry standard ingredients, so it delivers big volume and texture on your hair without weighing it down. I use dry shampoo and I have loved every Living Proof product I have tried. This is a great sample.
tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush – Super soft, silky powder chock full of true-color mineral pigments lets you layer on your glow with no harsh lines or chalky build-up. Its micronized Amazonian clay helps control oil & infuse moisture for balanced skin and seamless blending. While I don’t need blushes at all I do like these blushes. I have 2 and I’m happy to add to that collection.
Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream – This whipped formulation contains an airy blend of six rare African oils to deliver and lock in intense moisture for hours after application. Plantain extract helps recover the feel of firmness and elasticity while visibly brightening skin. Sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer easily soaks in and releases long-lasting hydration. Antioxidant-rich fermented green tea combats signs of aging and relieves irritation from environmental stressors. Loaded with omega acids, Lala Retro™ is a silky, dream come true for dull, tired, dehydrated skin. This silicone-free moisturizer is completely non-sensitizing and non-irritating. I am thrilled to get a chance to try something from Drunk Elephant. This will have to wait until winter because it sounds a bit heavy for my skin this time of year.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye Concentrate – Its nonmigrating cream texture is specifically formulated for the delicate eye area, and with repeated use, fine lines are diminished and puffiness and dark circles are reduced. Squalane helps restore skin’s natural moisture balance; lavender essential oil soothes and stimulates skin’s repair process, and evening primrose oil repairs the skin barrier while boosting radiance. This is a good brand and I like what I have tried. I will use this so I am happy with it.
beauty blender micro mini bubble – The mini beautyblender with laser focus! Finally a tool to ensure professional-style contouring, highlighting and concealing which can easily be accomplished by a makeup novice or a makeupnista. Micro.mini is ¼ the size of the original beautyblender®, but grows to twice its size when wet, making it the perfect size to maneuver into small areas such as the under eye, inner eye corners, lids, brow bones, sides of the nose, top of the cheeks and acne spots. This will come in handy for blending concealer. I will use it but will stick with my Swisspers since they work well for around $2 each.
I am super excited with this Allure box for September. I am looking forward to trying every single item. I am especially happy to get to try the Drunk Elephant Moisturizer but will use everything. So far I am very satisfied with this subscription. It has been really good month after month. This box is a 5/5.
Do you get the Allure box? What did you think about the September box? Have you used any of the samples I received? Do you like them?
