Allure is a monthly beauty subscription. It costs $15 a month and will have 5 sample or deluxe samples each month. This is a new subscription box for me and I don’t know what I think of it yet.This is just my 3rd box. You can see what I have gotten in previous boxes here, here, here, and here. Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial – An overnight facial-in-a-jar to address uneven skin tone while improving skin texture for a brighter, more luminous complexion in as little as one night. OMG, I love this stuff! I got a sample in 5 Faves November 2016 and purchased a trial sized set of this line on Black Friday last year. It is a great product with the most amazing rose scent. I am so excited to get this.
Eau Thermale Avene A-OXitive Antioxidant Defense Serum – Advanced complex of time-released Vitamin C and E precursors, enhanced with a powerful antioxidant booster, neutralize free radicals caused by environmental and lifestyle stressors. Fast-absorbing serum protects and visibly plumps the skin to preserve a younger, brighter complexion. I love trying new serums. I haven’t found a Holy Grail so I am always open to experimenting. This sounds like a good one.
Pureology Hydrate Air Dry Cream – Hydrate Air Dry Cream is a no blow dry, air dry cream for heatless styling with a flawless finish. Perfect for low maintenance, effortless style. AirDry technology and AntiFade complex provides fast dry time, enhanced body, frizz control with a no product feel and colour radiance protection. I don’t blow dry my hair so that part is nice. The downside is that I have an overabundance of haircare samples and I really don’t do anything to my hair. This does not thrill me.
Beauty for Real 24/7 Waterproof Eyeliner – Waterproof gel glide eyeliner pencil that delivers intense 24-hour wearable color in shimmer or matte finishes. I have more eyeliners than I will ever use. And I don’t like gel eyeliners anyway. Not happy with this either.
Kat Von D Sinner OR Saint Perfume – At the time of this post I haven’t actually gotten my box but I know what is in it. I just don;t know which perfume sample I will get. It doesn’t matter because I don’t wear perfume.
Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner – I have so many Pantene samples from Walmart and Target beauty boxes. I will use this at some point but Pantene isn’t really a brand that I expect in an Allure box.
This box was just so-so for me. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it. I am very glad to get the Korres Sleeping Mask and the Eau Thermale Serum but the other products may end up in the giveaway pile.
