The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter

My son got me this body butter for my birthday. I included it in my Birthday Haul from Ulta. It sells for about $20 but was on sale when he bought it. I love the scent of roses and wanted a body butter with that scent.

The Heart Inside:

The Body Shop’s beautiful roses are grown organically on a farm in Herefordshire, where they’re infused in fresh mountain water to create our pure rose essence. This environmental, award-winning farm enriches the biodiversity of the local area, providing a welcome habitat for a variety of plants, insects, and small mammals.

This is more a whipped body butter. It is soft and light in the tub. It spreads easily on the skin and is instantly absorbed. It makes my skin feel so very soft and smooth. It just sinks in and leaves my skin better than before with a rose scent. This is not the soft rose scent that is found in most rose scented products. While I like the scent it is not as sweet or soft as I prefer. It has a stronger, tangy scent that lingers. It is not overly loud.

After using this I want to try more scents. I usually prefer more solid body butter but this whipped butter is pretty great. It feels nice going on. It may be the perfect texture body butter.

You can buy The Body Shop body butter at Ulta for $21. They come in a variety of yummy sounding scents. I can see that these will be on my Christmas list for sure. They are usually on sale around that time at BOGO 1/2 off. That would let me stock up.

If you like soft, creamy body butter then this is for you! It is instantly absorbed and the scent lingers. It is not overpowering, it is just present.

Have you tried any of The Body Shop body butters? What scents do you recommend?
