Rata & Co. Rosehip Face Mask

I bought this mask as part of a T. J. Maxx Haul. It is a pack with 5 masks that I picked up for $4.99. I love masks and Rosehip Oil is so good for the skin. I like to try skin care products that contain rosehip and rose water. So, when I saw this I knew I had to try it out.

Rata and Co Home Spa Rosehip Face Mask is a rich formulation containing the goodness of Rosehip Oil. Infused with Aloe Vera, to nourish and moisturize, as well as Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin, making lines less visible.  Use as part of your skin care routine to give your face the extra nourishment and attention it deserves. This mask will gently warm your skin, enabling the powerful natural active ingredients to deliver optimum benefits to the skin, hence promoting a smoother and more radiant complexion.

Directions:

  1. Clean your face thoroughly and remove the mask from the sachet.
  2.  Apply the mask to the face and massage gently into the skin.
  3. Remove the outer layer and leave the mask on the skin for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the mask, clean the skin and enjoy the effect.

My skin is normal with a tendency to get shiny in the warm weather. My issues are anti-aging, hyper pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. I do not have sensitive skin.

I always do my Nighttime Double Cleanse Routine first. I then apply my toner and Tretinoin and wait about 2 hours for it to absorb. Prior to applying a sheet mask, I apply my usual serums. I like to apply them under the mask so they can be pressed into my skin.

This mask has a white lotion serum and a white plastic backing on one side. The mask itself wasn’t really saturated with serum. It was a decent size but the mouth hole and the eye holes were kind of small and didn’t match my face. It had an odd smell that was nothing like roses. It was not a really loud smell just unexpected. It did not warm on my skin and I did not clean the skin after the mask. The mask was thick and soft.

I put on the sheet mask and covered it with my silicone mask cover. I left it on for 40 minutes. There was a lot of serum left when I removed the mask. I massaged the mask in and it was mostly absorbed. There was some stickiness but once I applied my moisturizer and oil it felt fine.

My skin looked and felt hydrated. I got a box of 5 of these masks for $4.99 from TJ Maxx.. This is a decent mask that I might well repurchase. All I really expect from sheet masks is hydration and this one delivered.

Have you tried this mask? Did you like it? What are your favorite sheet masks? What are your favorite rose masks?

  1. yes you are beautiful! I tried this sheet mask from Rata, bought at TJ Maxx, and love it! Their website lists the price in British pounds, since it’s from New Zealand, and TJ Maxx doesn’t always stock it. I didn’t see it on Amazon. Do you know where I can order it from?
