Best of the Boxes November 2017

I have several subscription services that I get each month. I am subscribed to Boxycharm, Birchbox, Allure, and Walmart. I also order the monthly Miss Tuitii mask sampler bag. I like to share what I consider the best samples I received each month.

Boxycharm came first this month. It is usually the best of all the boxes and also the most expensive at $21 a month. This month I just wasn’t feeling it. Nothing was really exciting. The 1 item I am including in this post still isn’t exactly what I would have wanted.

Luxie Beauty Quad Eye Travel Set – Take your eye game on the go with this quad travel set created with handcrafted synthetic brushes. These will be nice for travel but I don’t travel that much. I would rather have gotten 1 full sized brush.

The next box to arrive was Birchbox . It was not all that great either. I did do sample choice this month so my only item for this post was handpicked.

too cool for school All-in-One Egg Mellow Cream 5-in-1 Firming Moisturizer – You only need to apply this multitasking moisturizer once before you’ll want to stop cluttering your skincare routine with tons of steps and products. With five uses and multiple benefits packed into one bottle, the formula can be applied as a serum and moisturizer, a neck cream, an eye cream, or a sleeping mask. It’s infused with collagen (great for anti-aging), egg yolk extract, albumen (egg white), niacinamide, and omega oil for proper hydration that visibly plumps, so it even wears well under makeup—no need for a primer. This was my sample choice. I really wanted to try this and it is a good sized sample that has enough uses to see if it works for me.

Allure  is arriving later and later every month. It was my favorite box this month but that didn’t take much.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum – A light and luxurious moisturizing serum the doubles as an under-makeup primer. Replenishes and protects to improve tone for elegantly glowing skin. Rich moisturizers and nutrients such as honey, silk amino acids, sea buckthorn oil, and Vitamin E provide intense moisture for radiantly smooth skin. Wear it by itself or under your day cream. Perfect as a makeup primer. I am looking forward to trying this. I love a good serum and I have tried and liked other Hey Honey products.

MODA Unicorn Crease Brush – Perfect for precision blending in the crease of the eye. This is a bit bigger than I like in a crease brush. It is gorgeous and good quality so I am sure I will find some use for it.

I think that the Hey Homey Serum is my favorite sample this month. Still, it was a disappointing month. I may need to take a break from all these subscription services. I could save the money I spend and buy products I know I want to try or already like.

What beauty subscriptions do you get? What is your favorite? What good samples did you get this month?
