I discovered Creme Shop sheet masks last year when I found The Creme Shop Anti-Aging Egg Nog Sheet Mask and purchased a box in a Marshalls Haul. I really enjoyed them and was sad that it was a limited holiday edition. Imagine my excitement when I walked into CVS and saw an entire display of The Creme Shop Limited Edition holiday masks! To make it even better they were on sale 5 for $10. I ended up buying 7 so I could try most of them. There was a lot to choose from and they addressed all kinds of skin issues.
The Let it Glow mask is just what I needed with the dry air and cold. And the packaging is so festive and cute! This mask promises to:
The Creme Shop Let It Glow! Holiday Ultra Moisturizing Jojoba Oil Face Sheet Mask will have you looking your best for the holidays! Protect your skin against harsh winter weather. Infused with jojoba oil, this hydrating sheet mask instantly reveals supple, glowing skin.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat., Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor oil, trideceth-I0, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta-Glucan, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Centella Asiatica Extract, Allantoin, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.
I love all the Creme Shop masks that I have tried but I don’t like that denatured alcohol is the 3rd ingredient. It is so harsh and bad for the skin. I don’t see why they have to use it in the masks. I also don’t see how the masks seem to be so good either considering how much alcohol is in them.
To help make up for the alcohol it does have some good ingredients. It contains sodium hyaluronate which helps pull water into your skin. Then, of course, there is the jojoba seed oil.
I always remove my makeup, cleanse my face, use my active, apply toner, and apply serums before the mask. I want the mask to help seal in all my other products. For reference, my skin is combo being dryer in the winter and shiny in the summer. My concerns are anti-aging, dry patches on my chin and hyperpigmentation.
You would expect to smell alcohol since it is a major ingredient but you don’t. This has a barely noticeable sweet scent. The packet has a lot of essence in it and the mask itself is saturated. It is a thin watery essence. I put most of the excess on my face before putting on the mask and put the rest on my neck and chest. The mask is medium weight and soft.
This mask fit my face very well and the adherence was very good. The mouth, nose and eye holes lined up almost perfectly. There was some mild tingling when I put it on but I had used an AHA peeling mask earlier.
Although the mask has jojoba oil there was no oily feeling at all. The essence was thin and watery. I left the mask on for almost an hour and it was still damp. I like to leave sheet masks on until they begin to dry out. You should never leave them on until they are completely dry because they will pull moisture from your skin.
There was essence left on my skin and I patted it in and left it to finish absorbing. It was pretty sticky feeling on my neck. Once I applied my other skincare products the stickiness went away.
I have to be honest and say that I didn’t see any obvious benefits from this mask other than hydration. I didn’t see the glow it promised. The next morning my skin was soft and smooth. It did not get as flaky during the day as it has been. I can’t say if that was the sheet mask or the peeling mask though.
This was an ok mask. As long as a sheet mask hydrates my face I feel like it was worthwhile. Any other benefits are a bonus. This was fun for the pretty holiday packaging.
Have you tried any of The Creme Shop holiday masks? Which ones? Which do you like best? Any mask recommendations for me?

I noticed some of my masks have alcohol as well which is completely contradictory to your goal. It’s crazy!

Yes it is but they still somehow are effective.
