Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

It is no secret that I love a shopping trip to TJ Maxx! They have such incredible beauty bargains that I always find things I must have. You can see what I have picked up there in the past here and here. It is one of my favorite places to go browse. So, when I started thinking about gifts for my coworkers it was an obvious choice.

I am a huge fan of The Body Shop body butter. I especially love The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter. Imagine my excitement when I found the body butter at TJ Maxx for $5.99 rather than the $21 they are at Ulta. They have a great selection of scents too. I am someone who wants to share products that I love so I shared The Body Shop body butters with mu coworkers and friends.

I bought 2 of the Cocoa Butter Body Butters because it is a mild scent that most everyone would like. The super-rich and creamy Cocoa Butter Body Butter moisturizes, softens, and smooths skin. The easily absorbed formula helps condition skin while restore moisture. I bought one earlier to put in my son’s stocking. He has really dry skin and this is not a feminine scent.

I bought a Blueberry Body Butter too. Indulge in our iconic Blueberry Body Butter, An intensive, creamy all-over body moisturizer with a fruity blueberry fragrance that absorbs easily into the skin, to condition, soften and help prevent dryness. I really like this scent so I may keep it for myself!

I did buy a Spiced Apple Body Butter and Shower Gel for me. Our seasonal-edition Spiced Apple range is inspired by warm spiced apples, just out from the oven. The soap-free, lather-rich shower gel is a festive, fresh way to start the day! The Spiced Apple body butter moisturizes and smooths the skin – a ripe indulgence to that gets the skin ready to party! This is a limited edition scent that is no longer listed on The Body Shop site. I have been using it and it smells fantastic.

I also purchased 3 sets that have a body butter and a lip butter. Two of them are in Cocoa Butter and the other is Strawberry. I know that strawberry is not a very Christmasy scent but there were only the 3 left!

For the only male I work with, I got a bag of Ghirardelli Holiday Chocolate Squares Caramel Chocolate Trio. You really can’t go wrong with chocolate at Christmas.

The final item was for me too! I had read of people finding Kat Von D at TJ Maxx but I thought it was an urban legend. But no it is true. I found Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad in Plum for $9.99. Even though I have more eyeshadow palettes than I can ever finish I had to have this. I have used it and it is great. I would love to have found one in Rust too. 

I was very pleased with my TJ Maxx Christmas haul. I got some nice gifts for my coworkers and some nice gifts for me. Plus, it was a bargain. I got everything for $56.21. That is 4 full size The Body hop Body Butters, 3 The Body Shop Minis, a shower gel AND a Kat Von D quad! The body butter alone would be $84 at Ulta.
