I bought the Scinic Intensive Dual Mask – Snail Solution from a company I found on Instagram. KStyles Mini Box is a great bargain and I am certain I will be buying more. I got some great masks to try it, a pair of socks, candy, tea, coffee, and samples. This is the first mask I have tried from the box.
This intensive dual mask will make your skin moist and smooth by improving its vitality and elasticity with the help of Snail Secretion Filtrate and Red Ginseng Root Extract!
The T-zone and V-zone sheets will closely adhere to the skin to help your complexion absorb its anti-aging essence.
To Use: After cleansing and toning the skin, take out the upper part of the mask and attach it closely to the face by aligning it with the eyes. Take out the lower part of the mask and attach it to the face along the chin line by aligning it with the nose and mouth. Remove the mask after 10-20 minutes and gently pat to promote absorption of the remaining residue.
Ingredients: Water, Snail Secretion Filtrate (1,800mg), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Betaine, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, PEG-32. Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Adenosine, Panthenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Acrylates/C1-.30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ubiquinone, Colloidal Platinum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenyl Trimethicone, Fragrance.
This mask has some great ingredients and I was pleased to see that the Snail Secretion Filtrate was the 2nd ingredient. Niacinamide is pretty high on the list too. It is a great anti-aging benefit that helps with enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and dullness.
This was only my 2nd 2 piece mask and I struggled to figure out how to put this thing on. I finally got it on and the fit was ok. The nose was like 3D and was just oddly shaped. It did not fit well around the nose at all. You can see in the picture that it was saggy on the chin too.
The masks had adequate essence and there was no excess in the packet. It had no obvious scent. There was some mild tingling then it felt cooling.
I was not a fan of the chin flaps. They would not adhere. When I removed the mask that area felt dry and my face had a thin essence left. I left the mask on for about 25 minutes and it was damp when I removed it.
I massaged the essence in but it was fairly sticky. My other nighttime skincare products made it less sticky. My skin had a glow and looked plump and hydrated. It was bright too. I liked this mask a lot. I am still new to snail skincare so I enjoyed getting to try this. I do wish it fit better and and adhered well.
Have you ever tried this mask? Any other snail masks? Do you have any mask recommendations for me? Other skincare products with snail?
