My Beauty Diary Red Vine Mask

I bought a bulk pack of assorted My Beauty Diary sheet masks on Amazon after seeing good reviews. I have liked every one that I have tried so far so I was looking forward to trying the Red Vine (Wine) version.  This was actually the first sheet mask with wine that I have used.

Description:

  • The power of this red wine mask comes from a combination of polyphenols that fight the formation of free radicals, protect skin from UV radiation, and enhance cell growth.
  • Antioxidants like tannins and anthocyans promote microcirculation in the skin, giving you a natural, healthy glow and helping maintain elasticity.
  • Other natural sugars and citrus extracts gently exfoliate and noticeably brighten your complexion.
  • Use this mask to firm, plump, and brighten your face in minutes!

Ingredients: Water, glycerine, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, ale barbadensis gel, camellia sinensis leaf extract, citrus grandis fruit extract, licorice leaf extract, phenoxyethanol, triethanol amine, arnica montana flower extract, vitis vinifera fruit extract, polysorbate 20, chamomilla recutita flower extract, nasturtium officinale extract, citric acid, sodium hyaluronate, dipotassium glycyyrrhizate, codium tomentosum extract, hydrolyzed elastin, lecithin, polysorbate 80, yeast extract, peg-15 hydroxystearate, carbomer, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, polyglutamic acid, xanthan gum, fragrance, sodium lactate, sodium hydroxide, sodium pca, glycosphingolipids, tocopheryl acetate.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the yummy grape juice scent. This is hands down the best scent of any sheet mask I have tried. The essence was thin and clear. It was a drippy essence. The mask was well saturated with it. There was a lot of essence in the package and I put it on my face and neck before applying the mask.

This was a mask that had a plastic backing to help get it in place. The mask was super thin and the fit was good. Except for the mouth area. It did not fit me all that great and was too big. The eyes and nose were good though.

After 25 or 30 minutes it started to dry out especially on the chin. It also sagged badly in the chin area and did not adhere like it should have. There was essence left on my face but my chin was almost dry. I tapped and massaged the essence and let it absorb. It did not leave any tacky or sticky feeling.

The Beauty Diary Red Vine Mask left my face with a subtle glow. It looked brighter and plumper. Overall, I liked this mask. The saggy chin and wide mouth were annoying but did not have a negative impact on the effects of the mask. I’m not sure I would repurchase right away but I might buy it in the future if I caught it on sale.

Have you tried this mask? Did you like it? Have you tried any other My Beauty Diary Masks? How about any wine masks? I love to get recommendations on new masks to try.
