When my skin was oily I loved the Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation for combination/oily skin. It is one of the best drugstore foundations for controlling shine. However, once I started using Tretinoin my skin became dryer in the fall and winter. I have always liked the idea of cream foundations but they didn’t work for my oily skin. I decided to give this a try to see how it worked for my flaky winter skin.
Finally, truly decadent makeup offers ultimate performance. The mousse-like texture feels like silk on your skin and the time release formula balances skin for a flawless look. All-day, flexible wear without flaking, caking, or feeling heavy.
• Bouncy, whipped formula flexes with skin for all-day comfort
• Withstands heat and humidity
• Wears for up to 24 hours
• Available in 12 shades
This is a drugstore foundation and you can get it for around $12. My shade is 150 Buff which is one of the lightest shades. With only 12 shades it does not offer the widest range. Luckily I am pretty pale so Buff works perfectly for me.
The texture is amazing. It feels so creamy and so light. It is one of those textures that always retains its shape. After I scoop out what I need it levels out again. I know that some people won’t like that it comes in a jar. My hands are clean when I put on makeup and I don’t stress much about germs anyway. If that is an issue for you a spatula might help.
It blends so well with my Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. It provides medium to full coverage and can be layered to achieve the coverage you want. It has a satin finish that looks really nice. My other makeup goes over it with no problems. It lasts all day and never looks dry or cakey.

This is one of my favorite, if not my very favorite, foundations. I don’t see any cons to it. It looks good. It feels good. It wears well. It plays well with my skincare and other makeup. Plus, the shade is perfect for me. This is a foundation that I will repurchase again and again. I like it so much better than pricier foundations. Paying more does not always guarantee that you get a better product.
Have you ever tried this foundation? What did you think of it? Have you tried the liquid version? Did you like it? What is your favorite drugstore foundation? Your favorite foundation overall?

I haven’t tried this one, but I do love whipped foundations. The texture is light and blends easily.Great review!

I love this foundation for how it looks and always has amazing coverage. But it breaks me out so bad! But it covers the break out so well it’s almost worth it

This sounds amazing! It reminds me of the brand new Josie Marian Beauty Butter (which is $40). Could be a great dupe!
