Even though I get several subscription boxes I always am most excited about getting my Boxycharm. It is the most expensive subscription I get at $21 a month but it is almost always well worth it. You can see what I have received in past boxes here, here, here, here, here and here.
This months box was just ok for me. I love that Boxycharm sends palettes but I am starting to have face and eye palettes just piling up. I can only use so many. Read on to see what I got this month.
GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper – with active Ingredients Volulip gives you an INSTANT plumping effect within 3-5 minutes that lasts for hours. Results may vary. I don’t really care for lip plumpers and this is an orange shade. I didn’t swatch it because I am probably going to pass this on. The retail is $27 for this.
Crown Pro – Glam Metals Palette – Rock your look with the Crown Pro Glam Metals eyeshadow palette! These highly pigmented, ultra-blendable shadows make smokey eye looks a breeze! This is a nice palette but I prefer something with matte shades. I will use this some but not for every day. It retails for $25.
Dr. Brandt – pores no more LUMINIZER PRIMER – LUMINIZER PRIMER delivers a natural radiant glow while blurring pores and imperfections for a beautifully illuminated flawless complexion. I am happy about this product. I always enjoy trying new primers and I like Dr. Brandt. This is $38 and a full size!
PÜR The Complexion Authority – Bronze and Brighten Cheek Palette – An on-the-go highlight, bronzer and blush palette with three skin perfecting powders to create an effortless and sun-kissed glow on every skin tone. Featuring PUR’s fan favorites Afterglow and Mineral Glow along with a new blush shade, Blushing Glow, throw this in your bag and you’re ready to go! This has a retail price of $34 and is a full size. I like the PUR products I have gotten in past Boxycharm boxes. This looks really glittery so we shall see if it works for me.

This is another full-size product and it sells for $24. This is what I was most looking forward to because my current eyebrow pencil is almost empty.
I was not super thrilled with this box but I wasn’t disappointed either. The lip plumper is the only product that I almost certainly won’t work for me. I’m not sure about the face palette but I will give it a try. I rate this box a 3/5.

Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin 
I got this box and mostly the same items except the lip plumper. I thought the box was good. I just was a bit bummed to get more face products after receiving similar items in my December box (blush, bronzer and highlight) so the pur palette felt redundant but if it’s a good quality palette I may give it a try!
