Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

I love stopping by my local TJ Maxx store to browse. It is rare that I don’t find something that screams “buy me.” It seems like my store gets better every time I go in. No wonder I always walk out with at least 1 item. Or 3, as the case may be!

My last trip was no exception. I wandered the beauty aisles and walked out with 2 new items to try and stocked up on a favorite.

The Body Shop Satsuma Fresh Body Sorbet – This sorbet is the perfect skin treat. Bursting onto the beauty scene, this must-try moisturizer will leave your skin infused with the fresh scent of satsuma. I have been using this and the shower gel which I included in my 5 Faves January 2018. I was almost out of the body sorbet and was thrilled to find it marked down to $3! This smells so amazing. It has a bright, fresh orange scent. The body sorbet has a unique texture that feels like orange peel. It leaves my skin soft and softly orange scented.

Essano Rosehip Mist Toner – Essano Rosehip Certified Organic Mist Toner is a refreshing blend of antioxidants, kakadu plum, green tea and certified organic rosehip oil to hydrate, tone and smooth your skin. This toner contains potent levels of vitamins C (kakadu plum) and A (rosehip oil) with soothing aloe vera and witch hazel combined to balance and tone skin, naturally. My skin has been super dehydrated this winter. I have started using a facial mist often to provide a dose of hydration. I have this at work to spritz my face a few times a day. It has a nice scent and does not disturb my makeup.

Andalou 1000 Roses Floral Toner  – This aromatic rosewater mist with alpine rose stem cells instantly refreshes and revitalizes skin’s delicate pH balance as pomegranate, rich in tannins and polyphenols, uplifts tone and moisture-binding humectants, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, help revive for a flawless looking complexion. I love skincare that has roses so I had to pick this up. I have used other products from Andalou and liked them. I also have gotten to where I prefer spray toners because they are convenient. I haven’t tried this yet because I have open toners I need to finish. I am looking forward to trying it soon.
